With over 40+ years of real estate appraisal and teaching experience, Dr. Samuel Lee Edward Henderson has a long and successful teaching record in the disciplines of mathematics, physics, computer systems, real estate, appraisal, property management, green appraising (high sustainable buildings), pre-license, post- licensing and continuing real estate education. Dr. Henderson is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the national real estate broker and salesperson exams. 

Dr. Henderson's unique expertise in the residential and nonresidential real estate business comes as a direct result of being a real estate appraiser and broker practitioner and author of numerous real estate professional development courses; and, other literary works. With an earned master’s degree in real estate valuation and development from The Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Henderson uses this knowledge to provide guidance and consultation to real estate professionals who endeavor to advance their professional careers.     

Dr. Henderson is an Appraiser Qualification Board (AQB) Certified Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) instructor of The Appraisal Foundation (TAF).  Dr. Henderson is an Expert Witness in the District of Columbia and Maryland Courts, specializing in real estate brokerage and appraisal issues. Currently, Dr. Henderson serves as Chair of The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council of the Appraisal Foundation. He is a certified general realty appraiser, real estate broker, home inspector, and property manager in multiple states. Finally, Dr. Henderson is a divemaster and enjoys windsurfing and kiteboarding.
