Service Description

On completion of this course, the student should have a better understanding of the following specific aspects of property management within the District of Columbia. Additionally, the student should be able to adhere to these aspects in day-to-day practices. This adherence includes, but is not limited to, advising clients on specific District of Columbia property management/common interests like: • Recognizing features that identify the role of the property manager • Identifying pertinent requirements for licensure as a property manager • Identifying the pertinent requirements maintaining licensure as a property manager • Understanding the role of common interest management • Understand the operation of association boards • Applying sound general accepted rules for recordkeeping of moneys and documents • Identifying the impact green features have on building efficiencies and to the quality of life of the occupants in these buildings
